Shannon tightened her legs around him and let out a drawn out cry of pleasure. Her body lifted against his as she tightened and came all over him. It was like a million explosion going off all over her body and her eyes just tolled back in ecstacy. Was in her own beautiful oblivon.

"oh me.....god...." she gasped, clinging to hiis body as she rode out her waves. "baby...."

"I will take that as a compliment, my love."  Sayid said with a soft smile. 

She looked into his eyes and weakly lifted her head and kissed him deeply, drowning in emotion again. Her hand ran over the back of his neck and snaked into his hair as her tongue moved against his. Her legs slid down off his back and rested bent at his sides, but she just continued to kiss him she couldn't breath anymore.

"I think we keep.. getting better at this.." she whispered, pulling her lips away and letting them brush over his neck. "we certainly get lots.... of practice.."

Sayid chuckled a little.  "Well is there not an old saying that practice makes perfect."  He gazed into her eyes.  "We certainly seem to be proving that true."

She brushed his hair out of his face, and just stared at him. She felt all flush and balmy. Felt terrific actually and just loved holding him against her like this as their bodies cooled down.

He laid down on his side and pulled her close to him.  A small smile crept acorss his face.

"What are thinkin about there handsome?" she asked as she stroked his hair. "If you can think at all that is... we do have a tendency to wear eachother out and all.."

Sayid rested his head on his hand.  "I was thinking we should get something to eat."  He said.  "And I have just the idea of where to go."

Shannon smiled a little, basking the glow of a wonderful night with her husand. Her stomach rumbled a little causing her to giggle and kiss his forhead.

"Sounds like your body agrees with this idea."  Sayid said.

"Well...I guess i'm hungry.." she said, smiling down at him. "certainly worked off my lunch tonight.."

"And I would assume we will work off dinner too."  Sayid smiled.  "I was thinking it would be nice to have dinner at that pub in town.  It is called The Black Laborador.  When I was shopping for your gifts, I spoke with a lady who said they have a delicious cheddar cheese soup and biscuits."

Sayid sat up on the edge of the bed and pulled his t-shirt on.  He leaned back down and kissed her again.  "Why don't you get dressed and I will go get Libby and John.  I will have Bridgett keep Sarah so that the four of us can have a nice dinner.  Is that acceptable to you?"

"Well that is not a problem my love."  Sayid said.  "You have to keep up your strength, do you not."  He smiled.

Sayid pulled his clothes on and smoothed his hair.

Shannon got up and found her clothes, pulling them on, feeling refreshed and happy. Like they'd taken a few loads off themselves. She watched him carefully, knowing she got about close as he'd let her to that deep, painful part of his pysche that he still kept hidden. But told herself she wouldn't push him that hard. She just smiled when he looked over at her.

Sayid could feel her watching him and he stopped dressing and looked over at her.  "What?  What is it?"  He asked.

"Just admiring the view thats all.." she told him as she pulled a shirt over her head.
 
He smiled and stopped dressing as she pulled her own clothes on.  He watched her body move as she dressed and then watched her breasts disappear from view as she put on her clothes.

"I'm happy that's your all mine baby.."

"I would not be anyone else's but yours my love."  Sayid answered.

She walked over and kissed him softly, her hands on his face. And then leaned her forhead against his and smiled softly.

He accepted her kiss and kissed her back as she stood there next to him.  "Are you alright?"  He asked.

"I'm glad we talked.." she said quietly, running her hands down his arms and taking his hands in hers.
 
"So am I."  He answered.  Yes they had so much more to cover but for now things were good between them.

"I feel even closer to you now, if that's possible.."

"I believe we get closer to each other everytime we do this."  Sayid said as his arms wrapped around her.  "No matter what happens with us, we always find our way back to loving each other."

Shannon stared up into his eyes for a second and then pulled herself away forcefully. She kissed him on the cheek again and let og of his hands.

"Why don't you go get them?" She suggested, a little smile on her face as she turned to toward the bathroom.
 
"Alright."  He answered.

"Gotta fix my hair.." she ran her hand over it. "Unless you think that the sex hair looks good that is.."

"Oh I think it is beautiful."  He said as he smiled and walked out the door.

Sayid walked down the stairs as Libby and John played with Sarah.

"There's your daddy!"  Libby said.

"Dadda!"  Sarah cooed reaching for him.  He reached them and took Sarah from Libby. 

"Shannon and I would like to take you both to dinner in town tonight.  There is a delightful little pub called The Black Laborador and we would like to take you both there."  He smiled.

"Oh that'd be great."  Libby said.

"Sure Sayid, but you and Shannon don't have to treat us."  John said.

"Of course, John, we are honored to have you both here.  Please indulge us."  Sayid said.

"Well, it sounds good to me."  He said.

"Excellent.  Shannon is dressing."  Sayid said.  "I will take Sarah and leave her with Bridgett."

"Okay, then I'll change clothes myself."  Libby said.

"Oh Lord, here comes the big try on."  John teased.

"No you hush up, old man."  Libby teased back.  "I'll meet you and Sayid right back down here."  Libby trotted up the stairs to their room as Sayid took Sarah to Bridgett.

"Alright then I'll just stay here."  John teased.

Sayid dropped Sarah off with Bridgett.  "Alright precious, you stay here.  You mother and I and grandma and grandpa are going to dinner."

"Dadda!!"  She said reaching for him again.  Sayid held her up and kissed her little cheek again. "Bye Bye."

"Goodbye my angel."  Sayid said and he headed back down to meet John.

Libby finished and knocked on Shannon's door.  She pushed the door open slowly.  "Shannon?  Are you ready?"

She smiled a little and went to get her jacket. She put it on the table and went through her purse quickly before turning back to Libby. And gave her a warm hug again.

"Thank you.. for coming to see us.." she said over her shoulder. "It really helped.."

"Oh honey, we couldn't wait to get here."  Libby said.  "It just wasn't right, y'all bein' gone so long."

Shannon stepped and smiled a little more, some relief showing on her face.

"You alright hon?"  Libby asked as she walked toward Shannon.

"We had a good talk, a couple of them actually..one was actually a bit of an arguement but it gave some results." She told her, picking up her purse.
 
Libby stood there listening to Shannon and watching her rifle through her purse.

"We still got some work to do but it was progress.. and I do feel alot better.."

Libby nodded her head.  "That's good."  Libby said.  "I'm glad you got to talk to him, and I'm glad you two got some of it out of the way."

She pulled her jacket on, wanting to get out and eat and enjoy themselves. It had been a heavy day in alot of ways. Feeling the need to loosen up a bit more.
 
"So are we ready to go eat?" she asked. "I'm starving, worked up an appetite.."

"Oh I just bet you did."  Libby said.  They walked out the bedroom door and down the stairs. 

"So what are you two evil men talkin' about?"  Libby teased.

"The demise of our wives."  John teased back. 

She popped him on his arm.  "Like you could get out of bed in the mornin' without me."  She teased.

Sayid took his jacket and led them toward the door.  It was a cold and clear night as they piled into the car and drove into the village.  Sayid parked a few steps down from the door.  Once inside, the host sat them at a nice quiet table near the fireplace.

"Good evenin'."  The waiter said in his thick working class English accent.  "Ale for everyone?"  He asked.

"I will have a dark ale to start please."  Sayid said.

"Same for me."  John said.

"Make that three."  Libby said as she opened the menu. 

"And for you, m'lady?"  The waiter asked.  It was quite clear he'd taken a shine to Shannon.

Sayid smiled to himself as he read over the menu.  He noticed the cheese soup that the clerk at the store had mentioned.

"Well.." she said with a flirty smile. "I'll have the ale too..it semes popular..and may I have a glass of water on the side.." She winked. "Goes better with the salad.."

"Yes, mum."  He said as he walked off toward the bar.

Sayid studied the menu and smiled to himself.  It was downright comical to watch service people stumble all over themselves around her. 

Shannon rested her chin her hands and batted her eyes the waiter, and gave him a smile as he hurried off to get the drinks. She giggled a little and turned back to the rest of them.

"Well, that poor boy's gonna have a heart attack he gets any closer to you, Shan."  Libby said.

"Oh I just knew he was gonna fall over his feet walkin' away."  John teased.  Then he turned to Sayid who was obliviously studying the menu.

"Don't let it bother y'too Sayid."  Libby said. 

"Oh it does not."  Sayid smiled.  "It happens every where we go.  Other men find my wife stunning."

"I'll betcha he'll bust his ass getting those drinks here too.." 

"Undoubtedly."  Sayid answered.

she said innocently as she looked over the menu. "I always get fast service.."

She looked up over her menu with a smirk.

"Yes we can count on getting excellent service wherever we go."  Sayid said. 

"I have no idea why that is.." she said musingly, knowing exactly why. "Must just have good luck I suppose.."

Sayid cut his eyes to her and shook his head.  "Of course you do my love.  "What else on earth could it possibly be."

Libby was quiet.  She didn't like this.  The waiter was spending way too much time talking with the bartender. 

"Hey mate, you see the blonde over there?"  The waiter asked the bartender.

"I have eyes."  He answered looking over at Shannon.  "She is lovely, but she is wearing a ring, mate.  That means she's married."

"Aye, to that Arab bloke."  The waiter answered.  "Waste of a good woman, you ask me.  Shouldn't be maried to Arab trash.  She can do better."

"Listen kid, you keep that to y'self.  You have work to do."  The bartender said.  "Now take them their drinks."

"I suppose."  The waiter said.  He walked toward the table and set the drinks in front of them.

"Can I bring you some dinner?"  he asked.

"Hon, gimme that English Herb Chicken and a salad please."  Libby said.

"Yes, mum.  You are from Texas, no?"  He asked.

"Well I grew up there."  Libby said.  Something told her not to say too much.

"I'll go with that Shepherd's Pie."  John said.

"I will have the Prime Rib, a salad and a bowl of West Highland Cheese Soup please."  Sayid said. 

"And for you mum?"  He asked Shannon.

"Yes, my love, what would you like?"  Sayid asked.
